ABSTRACT
The paper presents a method for the preparation of grain or seed samples for laboratory testing purposes. The method is based on mathematical modeling of the thermal treatment (heating) process to allow the calculation of the thermal treatment parameters for the material studied to obtain the required final moisture content and temperature parameters. The principle and procedure of the method are illustrated on the example of a 50 g sample of milled grain heated in a 1000 W microwave oven.

W pracy przedstawiono metodę przygotowania próbek ziarna lub nasion kierowanych do badań laboratoryjnych. Metoda została oparta na modelowaniu matematycznym procesu termicznego, umożliwiająca dobór obliczeniowy czasów obróbki cieplnej próbki badanego materiału w celu uzyskania wymaganych parametrów wilgotności oraz temperatur końcowych. Zasady metody i procedurę wykonawczą zilustrowano przykładem przygotowania próbki 50 g ziarna prosa poddanej obróbce cieplnej w kuchence mikrofalowej o mocy 1000 W.
