ABSTRACT
Semantic meaning of the term agrophysics is explained and a trial of finding of indicative differences of this discipline of science and the biophysics is undertaken. The connections of agrophysics, agronomy and agricultural engineering are shown. Basing on differences and similarities between the above disciplines, agrophysics is placed among agricultural sciences as a speciality in agronomy and agricultural engineering.

Artykuł wyjaśnia semantyczne pojęcie agrofizyki i podejmuje próbę wykazania istotnych różnic tej nauki w porównaniu z biofizyką. Ukazuje też związki agrofizyki z agronomią oraz inżynierią rolniczą. Umiejscawiają one tę naukę, na tle wykazanych różnic i podobieństw, w dziedzinie nauk rolniczych, jako specjalność w agronomii a także inżynierii rolniczej.
