ABSTRACT
The study aims at defining values of precipitation - which at an assumed scenario of air temperature rise of 1 and 2oC - will not cause decrease of soil-moisture in relation to the hitherto level (1971-2000). Results of simulation revealed the regional diversity from 1 to 17 mm within a monthly scale for the 1oC rise and 8-28 mm temperature increase for the 2oC temperature rise scenario. For that reason they were considered as approximate and were presented as mean values for Poland from 12 selected stations. These values not taking into account kind of soil - indicate that at air temperature 1oC rise, there should be estimated 6,3 mm monthly increase of water demand at vegetation period, while at 2oC increase water demand would be 14,5 mm in relation to current precipitation.
